School Improvement Plan Update
Dear Faculty, Staff, and Edgartown School Community,
On April 12, the School Advisory Council (SAC) completed the latest draft of next year's School Improvement Plan (SIP) for 2016-2017. It is in the file cabinet on the SAC web page
. The goal is to create a plan that captures the best thinking of a wide range of school employees, parents, community members, students, and business people in our community. The SAC invites you to look this plan over and suggest any additions, deletions or corrections as SAC members want to capture the school community's concept of what the SIP should look like for next year. The SAC will meet again on May 10 to make final adjustments to this document which will be presented to the Supt. and School Committee in June for their approval. If you could forward any input to Kate McCormick (firstname.lastname@example.org
) prior to May 10 it would be most appreciated. Should you have any questions about this document or the related process Kate and I would be happy to answer them.

Dear Parents, Faculty and Staff, Community Members and Business Partners,
Our School Advisory Council (SAC) which is composed of parents, teachers, community members and business partners has just completed the final draft of the 2015-16 School Improvement Plan (SIP). This blueprint is complete with specific goals and strategies for the school to follow in the year ahead. The SAC is charged with the responsibility of seeing that all of the strategies and goals are followed in order to contribute to the overall success of this Plan. Please look over this important document and provide feedback to any of the SAC members as you see fit. On June 11 at 8:30am in the faculty dining room, the SAC will present the SIP to the School Committee and Dr. Weiss for their approval. I want to take this opportunity to thank the members of the SAC for their diligent work on this important blueprint for our school.
